BRUTAL’S SHOW: Dr. Sin performed a special show on the releasing of “Original Sin” CD some months ago (2009). The whole set list was dedicated to that albun and it was a great pleasure to listen to those songs which we hadn’t played alive for so long. We were very excited afterward and so, inspired on that, we’ve considered performing a show with similar thematic: to play one of our CDs completely.

We weren’t sure about which one we should explore more, so we realized a search on our Twitter to know which albun the fans would like to listen in a whole. The majority chose for Brutal CD, which was realeased in 1995.

Aiming at satisfying our fans and also ejoying the idea of playing a “new” and exclusively set list, we’ll also include some songs from other CDs during the encore.

IN THE NORTHEAST OF BRAZIL:We’d like to thank all the fans that watched our shows last weekend. They were two exciting performances. One of them took place in Juazeiro do Norte (May 14) and the other in Fortaleza (May 5).

BEATLES 70: Here we are again, paying homage to Beatles. After releasing a tribute CD to celebrate the 40 years of Beatles’ white album releasing, where we took part playing our version of the song “Everebody’s Got Something To Hide Except For Me And My Monkey”, Discobertas Record’s producer, Marcelo Fróes, who is also a friend of ours, will now release a tribute album to celebrate “Let it Be” 40th anniversary.

We were invited to record the song “Dig a Pony”, which is an honour to us, so we are looking forward to see your first impressions about our version of this song. The CD will come up in two volumes and is already on pre-sales at Saraiva Mega Store (volume 1 and 2). The releasing will take place on May 10, at Fnac Store at 7 p.m. (901 Paulista Ave, São Paulo)..

Formula Rock: Formula Rock first edition will take place on December 03. The event aims at putting all the national rock icons together in a funny and competitive kart race at “Kart In”, located in São Paulo. Bands such as Korzus, Angra, Viper, Dr.Sin, Mad, Dragzter and Peri-9 MA will be there. Explanation about the show not performed: Unfortunately we couldn’t perform at Carioca Club on November 21, when we’d share the stage with Grave Digger. The show was called off minutes before it was supposed to start. We were already there when we noticed that both the event’s agenda and the available structure were not the same ones previously agreed. So, in order to respect our fans, organizers and even our work, we decided not to perform the show.

The rest of the event could normally happen though. In order to our shows to happen, we have some minimum requirements. These requirements affect directly the quality of the show we offer to the public, otherwise we prefer not to perform. We’ve being performing around for about 20 years and we seldom had to take this decision. We hope eveybody understands why we took this decision. Our only wish is to offer you the best of Dr. Sin.

DR. SIN: As it was announced, we’ve just re-recorded our first CD which was produced by Andria Busic. Two unreleased songs are included in it: Nephelins and You Are My Love. This new CD, renamed “Original Sin”, will be distributed by Voice Music and in a few days will be available for sale. Stay tuned for new imfotmation.

ALTAS HORAS: The Brazilian TV program, Altas Horas (Rede Globo), will broadcast a combat between bands composed by icons of the Brazilian Music such as Liminha, Roger (Ultraje a Rigor), Andreas Kisser (Sepultura), Zezé di Camargo, Thunder Bird, Edgar Sandurra (Ira) and Ana Cañas next Saturday (09/26). Ivan Busic will too be there as on of the special guests. Don’t dare missing it!


AUTOGRAPH SESSION: Dr Sin will be at Expo Center Norte, a musical exposition that takes place in São Paulo annually. Many companies from the music field participate in this event in order to show their brand new products. It is also a way for the band to be closer to their public. We’re there every year and to take advantage of this opportunity, Dr. Sin will provide their fans an autograph session next Saturday (09/26) at Conservatório Souza Lima stand. We’ll be there autographing and selling our CDs, including the new one, Original Sin, which will soon be available for sale on the stores.

NEW RELEASE: We’d like to invite you all to the show we’ll perform next Friday (August, 21), at Manifesto Rock Bar, São Paulo. This performance will set the coming up of the new CD, Original Sin, a re-recording of the band’s first album released in 1993.

The CD now gets a new layout, two unreleased tracks and a new title.
In the show we’ll do something completely new in our career. We’ll reproduce the entirely CD to live again the well-known classic songs such as “Emotional Catastrophe” and “Scream and Shout”, besides including in the tracking list of the show the unreleased tracks. You can see the folder of “Original Sin” below which will be available for the public on the day of the event.

ORIGINAL SIN: We’d like to invite you for our next show at Manifesto Rock Bar (São Paulo/Brazil) on August 21. This performance will be really alike, once we’ll perform our first CD, Dr. Sin (1993), completely.

The reason this show will be entirely dedicated to our first CD is that we’ve just finished rerecording this piece of work. It also contains two bonus tracks and a new layout and name for the CD: “Original Sin”.

TOUR ABROAD: We’re really pleased with the results our working hard has provided us, cause, after many shows and events all over Brazil, we’re now going to have a tour around some countries. We’ve been receiving, since the releasing of Bravo CD, some invitations to play abroad, but only now we’ve got that concrete.
The tour will take place first at Rock Fest in England and will go on for all over Europe following the band AKA.

THANX: We, from Dr. Sin, would like to thanks KISS so much and all the people that, directly or not, made it possible for us taking part in such a great event. It was an incredible night where we could play for forty thousand people or so.

One of the advantages of being invited to taking part in such huge events is that we can show our work for people who, by any case, haven’t had the opportunity to watch or listen to Dr. Sin yet. This is the sencod time we play in the same stage as KISS. The first one was on the festival “Monsters of Rock”, where Dr. Sin was one of the attractions and KISS was the headliner.

We’d like to register over here, once more, our admiration and respect to the unique KISS. We hope they return to Brazil many more times. You wanted the best, you got the best… KISS!!!

Eminence in America: After being exposed in the folders of four Brazilian magazines in 2007 and 2008, Bravo CD is in the “Top Ten” list of the American magazine Casbox. Dr. Sin on the Rock Wall: Dr.Sin has just got into the “Brazilian Rock Wall”, a Brazilian version of a famous project created in California where the hands of world rock idols are registered. This project, idealized by the businessman Márcio Mota, has already registered the hands of great musicians and takes, along with their autographs, these registers all over Brazil in a nonfixed format exposition. The registering took place at a Brazilian TV program called “Mulheres”, hosted at TV Gazeta, on November 07. Pictures of this event will come soon.

BLACK ALBUM: After the participation of Dr.Sin in tribute to 40 years of the Beatles White album, the brothers Ivan and Andria Busic were again invited to a new tribute, this time the producer and friend Marcelo Fróes those invited to record the song "BADGE" the legendary band "Cream" in which wolves have passed as Eric Clapton, Ginger Baker and Jack Bruce.
The recording of this song has the brothers Andria (bass) and Ivan (drums), March Bavini (voice) and Atilla Ardanuy (guitar), the name of this project is called "Black Album" and it will be released in 2008. Soon more info...

EXPO MUSIC: It's happening in Sao Paulo the 25th International Fair of Music between days 24/09 to 28/09 in which the Dr.Sin mark this in the stands for autographs and endorses its workshops. Overall, the guitarist Edu Ardanuy give a small advance of his first solo album in a promotional pressing. "In short we have a labor official" said Edu.

NOT EVERYTHING ENDS IN PIZZA: In last Thursday, days 10/07, the Dr.Sin participated alongside big names of rock like Andreas Kisser (Sepultura), Kiko Loureiro and Rafael Bittencourt (Angra), Luiz Carlini ( Tutti Frutti), Paulão (Velhas Virgens) and others at the event "Not everything ends in Pizza," which happened in Chácara Santa Cecilia in the region of pine in São Paulo.

This was the fourth edition of the event which aims to mix fun and solidarity, this is due to bring together musicians from the world of Rock to serve the customers of pizza and earmarked the funds for the ABRE (Brazilian Association of Redistribution of Surplus).

We are honored to participate once again in the event and would like to congratulate our "customers", the organisers and all our friends that as we participated in the "Not everything ends in pizza."

BEATLES 40 YEARS: It was recorded a CD tribute to the 40 years of the launch of the white album of Beatles. We from Dr.Sin we were presented with the invitation to be part of this project that currently is in the process of mixing and production. We are all very excited with the result and we see the time that it is launched.

The news does not end up there, the song "Fire" of cd Brutal (1995) will be part of the soundtrack of the novel "Flames of Life" which will appear in the Network Record.

DR.SIN ON MTV: On November 27th, DR SIN will be alive on the program JORNAL DA MTV. The trio from São Paulo, who keeps following divulgating its new and well suceed album entitled "BRAVO", released by Dynamo Records, will play songs from this very same Cd and will take part of an interview along the program. The JORNAL DA MTV will start at 8.30PM and the re-run will be on Wednesday, November 28th, at 2PM.

MÉXICO: On November 19th, DR SIN spent the day promoting the new album BRAVO throughout Mexico. In the morning, all members of the band  were interviewed by Radio Station Buap and later they were  interviewed by TV SICOM. On November 20th, appeared on Tv AZTECA during a press conference. At the night presented their first show in Mexico, during Festival Internacional del Puebla.

SPANISH RADIO’S PLAY LIST BRINGS DR. SIN: Shadows of light (known is Brazil as “Dr. Sin II”) has been launched in Europe and it’s attracting the attention of the public. Radio Ripollet (Barcelona – Spain) has insert “Miracles” in their program called “Viaje al reino del metal”, and the song is really making some noise over there for weeks.

CHARITY GAME: On December 12th there was a soccer game that put together on the game field great names of music and tv. Some people that played were Leo Jaime, Danton Mello, Mauro Betting, Silvio Golfetti (Korzus) and Dr Sin, represented by the Busic brothers, Ivan and Andria. The game, organized by 97fm radio station, took place at Pacaembu stadium, and all proceeds were donated to Casas André Luiz. Dr.Sin would like to thank the fans that were there to give prestige to the band and the event, and contributed to the ones in need.
